Sanoflow allows users to create and manage message and campaign templates, ensuring consistent branding and effective communication. The platform supports customization for various audience segments and includes analytics tools for monitoring performance, enabling data-driven improvements and enhancing outreach efficiency.

Getting Here

This module is accessible by Admins, Managers, and any other authorized user to access the Templates module.

This module can be accessed through the navigation list on your left side of the screen, then go to Templates.

Another way to access this module is to go to Campaigns then press on Manage Templates.

Features of the Templates Section

  1. Templates Table Overview:
    • Columns:
      • Title: Name of the template.
      • Message: Preview of the message content.
      • Category: Purpose of the template (e.g., Utility, Marketing, Account Update).
      • Status: Current status (Approved, Rejected, Pending, etc.).
      • Updated: Last modification timestamp.
    • Actions:
      • View details, edit, duplicate, or delete templates.
      • Filter templates by channel (e.g., WhatsApp), category, or status.

Steps to Manage Templates

  1. Click the + Add Template button.
  2. Fill in the details:
    • Template Name.
    • Language (e.g., English).
    • Category (e.g., Marketing, Utility).
    • Channel (e.g., WhatsApp).
    • Message Body: Use placeholders like @ to insert dynamic data (e.g., customer name).
    • Optional Elements: Add header, footer, or buttons (e.g., Call-to-Action or Quick Replies).
  3. Click Submit for approval.
  4. Click the Edit icon next to a template.
  5. Modify any fields, such as message content or buttons.
  6. Save changes to update the template.

Sync Templates

  • Use Sync Templates to fetch the latest updates and statuses from platforms like WhatsApp.

Duplicate a Template

  1. Click the Duplicate icon.
  2. Save the new template.

The name of the template will automatically remain as the name of the duplicated template. You cannot edit the name.

  • Click the Details icon to view:
    • Template name, language, category, channel, status, and approval history.

Deleting a Duplicated Template

  1. Click the Trash icon.
  2. Confirm deletion. Note: This action cannot be undone.

Action Buttons

  • Sync Templates: This button allows you to retrieve your saved templates on your Meta Business Suite account, and any edits done to them later.

    • Ensure customers never miss scheduled meetings with automated reminder templates.
  2. Marketing Campaigns:
    • Use promotional templates for offers or new services.

    • Automate issue resolution messages using pre-approved templates.

    • Maintain clarity by assigning accurate categories (e.g., Utility vs. Marketing).

    • Test templates before submission to ensure formatting and placeholders work as expected.
  5. Frequent Syncs:
    • Regularly sync templates for up-to-date statuses and avoid rejected usage.

    • Modify the template based on feedback and re-submit for approval.
  2. Can I retrieve a deleted template?
    • No, deleted templates are permanently removed.
  3. How long does template approval take?
    • Approvals usually take up to 24 hours, but usually it can take around 5-10 minutes.
  4. Can I use templates for multiple channels?
    • Templates are channel-specific. Ensure you create separate ones for each channel.
  5. What are placeholders, and how do they work?
    • Placeholders like @ dynamically insert data (e.g., customer name or date) into the message at runtime.
  6. Why should I sync templates?
    • Syncing ensures your template library reflects the latest statuses and avoids rejected or outdated templates.

    • Yes, add media headers like images or videos to templates for enhanced engagement.
