The Locations Tab within the Appointments Settings module in Sanoflow provides the functionality to manage multiple physical or virtual locations where services are offered. This tool is ideal for businesses with multiple branches or service areas, ensuring seamless operations and booking management across various locations.
Admins, managers, and other authorized users can control different settings in the Locations Tab settings.
To access the Locations Tab:
- Log in to your Sanoflow account.
- Navigate to the Settings section in the left-hand menu.
- Under Platform, select Appointments.
- Click on the Locations tab at the top of the Appointments settings page.
The Locations Tab is designed for the creation, organization, and management of all locations tied to your business. It includes options for adding new locations, editing existing ones, and integrating them with services and specialists.
- Displays all existing locations in a list format.
- Columns include:
- Location Name: The name of the location.
- Actions: Options to edit or delete a location.
- A + Add Location button is located at the top-right corner of the Locations Tab.
- Clicking this button opens the Add Location modal.
- Fields:
- Location Name (Required): Enter the name of the new location.
- Address (Optional): Input the address for reference.
- City: Add the city where the location is based.
- Country: Select the country from a dropdown menu.
- Assign Services: Assign available services to the location.
- Assign Specialists: Assign specialists who work at the location.
- Save Button: Saves the new location.
- Click the pencil icon (✏️) next to any location to open the Edit Location modal.
- The modal allows updating the same fields as the Add Location modal.
- Click the trash bin icon (🗑️) next to any location to delete it.
- A confirmation pop-up appears to prevent accidental deletions.
- Each location can be linked to specific services and specialists.
- Ensures that bookings for a particular location only display its assigned services and specialists.
- Multi-Branch Clinics:
- Add all branches (e.g., Dubai Clinic, Abu Dhabi Clinic) as separate locations.
- Assign branch-specific services and specialists to ensure bookings are accurate and well-organized.
- Remote Services:
- Create a location called “Online Consultation” for virtual appointments.
- Assign specialists and services specific to online consultations.
- Localized Marketing Campaigns:
- Tailor campaigns to specific branches or regions by assigning exclusive services to a location.
- Use Descriptive Names:
- Ensure location names are clear and descriptive (e.g., "Main Street Clinic" instead of just "Clinic").
- Assign Services and Specialists:
- Always assign services and specialists to each location to prevent confusion during bookings.
- Regular Updates:
- Periodically review and update location details to ensure accuracy, especially when new services or specialists are added.
- Handle Location Closures:
- For temporary closures, use override schedules in the Specialists Tab to reflect the unavailability of services or specialists.
- Map Integration (If Available):
- Use the address field for potential map integrations or customer reference.
- Can I assign a service to multiple locations?
- Yes, you can assign a service to as many locations as needed when adding or editing the service.
- What happens if I delete a location?
- Deleting a location will remove its association with any services or specialists. You must reassign them to other locations manually.
- Can I restrict bookings to specific locations?
- Yes, when assigning services and specialists to a location, only those assigned will appear for bookings linked to that location.
- Is there a way to temporarily disable a location?
- While there’s no direct “disable” option, you can unassign all specialists and services or use override schedules to block availability.
- Can I view all bookings for a specific location?
- Yes, bookings can be filtered by location in the Reports or Appointments sections.
- How do I assign a location to a new service?
- When creating or editing a service, you can assign the location from the dropdown menu in the Services Tab.
- What if a specialist works at multiple locations?
- Assign the specialist to each relevant location and define their working hours separately for each location in the Specialists Tab.
- Can I add multiple addresses to a single location?
- No, each address must correspond to a unique location entry.
- How do I handle mobile services that don't have a fixed location?
- Create a location called "Mobile Service" or something similar, and assign the relevant services and specialists.
- Is there a limit to the number of locations I can add?
- Yes, this depends on your plan with Sanoflow.
